Coach Jesse Cargill started her training at Pride soon after enrolling her own children at the ages of 4 and 6, both of which have earned their Black Belts. She earned her Black Belt under Mr. Epps in 2009, and was promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2011.
Coach Jesse is the Program Director for Pride Mixed Martial Arts. With an extensive background working with children and teens, Coach Jesse lives out her passion of teaching kids on a daily basis. Prior to teaching at Pride, Coach Jesse operated a successful home daycare for eight years. Expanding her life's mission, she used her love and knowledge of horses to help troubled teens at a boy's home using equine therapy.
Coach Jesse is truly an inspiration. She became the 2012 IKF Kickboxing Women’s Super Light Weight World Champion at age 38! No easy feat, considering most of her opponents were in their twenties!
Her drive and passion to empower women has led her to develop a women's personal protection program called Fierce and Fearless! Teaching women rape preventing an self defense through workshops and seminars.
She is the spokeswoman for Designing a Safer Woman, a collaborative women's safety project empower and educate women and help them design personal protection plans, based on their lifestyles.
We love the Pride MMA family! My son Brody loves coming to class, loves learning and thriving. The coaches and staff are so welcoming and truly care about the kids they teach. They challenge the kids and strive to make them better both in martial arts and as human beings. I would recommend this facility and it's staff to anyone looking for a program for themselves or their children.
Great coaches and great opportunity for kids to gain confidence in their own abilitiies
It is an amazing facility, both clean and conducive to the classes offered. They also have a good selection of resources to help teach and reach personal goals. They have a diverse collection of courses available, with class times that can accommodate any schedule. Their staff AND members really keep me motivated and obviously want to be there. They are inviting and have a great attitude and philosophy. "Pride" is the perfect name for this perfect collection of souls. I'm proud to be a part of their family now - and sense of family is obvious. I encourage anyone to challenge themselves and be a part of this team.
