Jason Epps

Meet Jason Epps, the visionary founder and owner of Pride Mixed Martial Arts in Edmond, Oklahoma, and the co-founder of the transformative Fierce & Fearless program. Jason’s journey into martial arts began at nine years old, seeking skills to defend himself against neighborhood bullies. What he discovered was far more impactful: discipline, confidence, and self-control. Martial arts quickly evolved from a personal refuge to a lifelong passion and a defining element of his identity.

Teaching for Coach Epps extends beyond passion; it’s a mission fueled by the transformative power of martial arts values and principles he experienced firsthand. His commitment has led him to specialize in coaching and developing youth athletes in Muay Thai, where he brings not just expertise but a genuine desire to see each student thrive. As a certified TBA-SA (Thai Boxing Association – Sanctioning Authority) judge and referee, he actively works to elevate and promote the art and sport of Muay Thai in Oklahoma, nurturing a thriving community around this discipline.

Throughout his career, Coach Epps has had the privilege of training and studying under martial arts greats such as Tuhon Harley Elmore, Pamana Tuhon Christopher Sayoc, Tuhon Carl Atienza, Professor Rafael Lovato Sr., and martial arts legend Joy Turberville.
