Julius Caesar was the greatest of all Roman leaders and for that matter of all leaders.

He ultimately came to define what it means to be great to western civilization. It is said that Julius Caesar “is the only supreme yardstick of greatness.”

WHITE BELT MINDSET
WHITE BELT MINDSET

We talk about having a black belt mindset, but having a white belt mindset is a good thing too.

I love white belts. They are so eager to learn, so eager to get started. It’s easy to mold them. They are typically not filled with excuses on what they have already done and tried and what won’t work.

WHERE ARE THE HEROES – PT 2

In my last article, Where are the Heroes- pt1, I talked about gaining strength by following the example of fictional heroes. However, there are of course heroes in real life as well. These are the men and women who are out there making a real difference and impact on their world.

Pride Mixed Martial Arts Kid’s Program

We have been with Pride for a year now. Pride has taught him how to be ready for school, discipline, manners, and has helped him grow out of his shyness. He wants to work so hard to get to his black belt. I couldn’t express how much I love what Pride has done for him. The coaches have always been amazing and have so much patience with the kids.

Best group of martial artists I’ve ever been around. Youngsters are great and the instructors are out of this world. Could not recommend any more highly!

I LOVE this place! All of the coaches are so knowledgeable, experienced and super friendly. They are so patient while I learn and have such positive attitudes all the time. I absolutely recommend for everyone, kids and adults to train here.

They are great with the little kids and make sure they understand the move completely before they have them demonstrate it. They are always on their level as not to seem towering and that helps my daughter to have that. All the coaches are great and this is definitely a family gym.
