Pride Mixed Martial Arts Instructor - Jason Epps

Jason Epps

Fierce & Fearless Co-founder and Head Coach at Pride Mixed Martial Arts in Edmond, Oklahoma. At nine years old Jason Epps enrolled in a martial arts class hoping he would learn to protect himself from the neighborhood bullies that terrorized him on a daily basis. Not only did the martial arts teach him self-defense, it taught him how to be more disciplined, confident, and self-controlled. The Martial Arts soon became a passion that would define his life.

Teaching is more than a passion for him. He knows firsthand that the values and principles, taught through the martial arts, are life changing.  Coach Epps’ purpose and mission for Pride Mixed Martial Arts is to empower his students to live life without limits or compromise.

Coach Epps Holds the Following Ranks and Titles:

  • Warriors’s Way International – Full Instructor

Prior to teaching at Pride, she operated a successful home daycare and used her love and knowledge of horses to help troubled teens at a boy’s home using equine therapy.

Coach Jessi is truly an inspiration. She became the 2012 IKF Kickboxing Women’s Super Light Weight World Champion at age 38! No easy feat, considering most of her opponents were in their twenties!

Her drive and passion to empower women has led her to develop a women’s personal protection program called Fierce and Fearless! Teaching women rape prevention and self defense through workshops and seminars.

She is the spokeswoman for Designing a Safer Woman, a collaborative women’s safety project empower and educate women and help them design personal protection plans, based on their lifestyles.

Pride Mixed Martial Arts Kid’s Program

We have been with Pride for a year now. Pride has taught him how to be ready for school, discipline, manners, and has helped him grow out of his shyness. He wants to work so hard to get to his black belt. I couldn’t express how much I love what Pride has done for him. The coaches have always been amazing and have so much patience with the kids.

I LOVE this place! All of the coaches are so knowledgeable, experienced and super friendly. They are so patient while I learn and have such positive attitudes all the time. I absolutely recommend for everyone, kids and adults to train here.

Pride Mixed Martial Arts

They are great with the little kids and make sure they understand the move completely before they have them demonstrate it. They are always on their level as not to seem towering and that helps my daughter to have that. All the coaches are great and this is definitely a family gym.
